Feel becomes Davido’s fifth track to cross the milestone, joining 67 other Nigerian songs on the platform’s centurion list.
Davido’s Feel, the second track off his 2023 album Timeless, has crossed 100 million streams on Spotify, marking another career milestone for the Afrobeats star.
The record makes Feel the latest addition to Spotify’s “centurion club,” which now features 68 Nigerian-led songs. Earlier this year, Burna Boy’s Anybody and Asake and Olamide’s Amapiano also joined the list, in May and July, respectively.
For Davido, Feel is his fifth track to achieve the feat, following Unavailable and Kante (both from Timeless), as well as his 2017 classic Fall and his collaboration Sensational with Chris Brown.
Among Nigerian artists, Burna Boy and Tems dominate the club with 10 entries each, followed by Omah Lay with seven, Wizkid and Rema with five apiece, and Asake with four.
At the top of the streaming charts, Rema and Selena Gomez’s Calm Down (remix) remains the only Nigerian song to surpass 1 billion streams, currently standing at 1.7 billion. CKay’s Love Nwantiti (ah ah ah) follows closely with 979 million streams.
