In an unexpected development, the premiere of “Egun,” a highly awaited horror film, has hit a slight detour. Originally slated for a Nov. 10, 2023, theatrical release, “Egun” encountered a sudden change in plans.

 

One of the writers, Kayode Kasum took to Instagram to announce a shift to Nov. 17, 2023, catching fans off guard but heightening the film’s intrigue.

 

Despite the unexpected delay, enthusiasts can rest assured that “Egun” remains a hot-ticket item this month. The abrupt rescheduling only adds to the suspense, and eager moviegoers now have an extra week to prepare for the chilling narrative that awaits them in cinemas nationwide.

Written by Kayode Kasum and Dare Olaitan, the film thrusts audiences into the eerie depths of a corporate office, grappling with the ominous consequences of an otherworldly delivery.

 

Directed by Carmen Ike Okoro, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Gideon Okeke, Omowunmi Dada, Uzor Arukwe, Femi Jacobs, Bolaji Ogunmola, Adedimeji Lateef, Olarotimi Fakunle, Yekini Ibrahim, Vee Iye, Tomike Adeoye, Darasim Nadi, Ejiro Onajaife, and Taye Arimoro.
