Emmanuel Iren’s “What About Us?” Hits Cinemas Soon

From the creative stables of talented filmmaker Kayode Kasum comes a new faith-based film titled “What About Us?”  Executively produced by renowned pastor Emmanuel Iren, the founder of Celebration Church International (CCI), this film marks the pastor’s cinematic debut. Kasum is known for box office hits like “Sugar Rush,” “Far From Home,” and “Afamefuna.”

Scheduled for cinema release on July 12, 2024, Iren refers to the film on his Instagram post as “something fresh to get you hyped” and “a project of passion and love”. Distributed by FilmOne Nigeria, the film’s poster promises to be engaging, sparking reactions from film lovers and Celebration churchgoers alike.

Though the details of the plot are yet to be disclosed, the film’s cast hints at an exciting cinematic experience. Starring Kunle Remi, Folu Storm, Uzor Arukwe, Teniola Aladese, Seyi Awolowo, Atlanta Bridget Johnson, Mary Colette, and others, “What About Us?” appears to be a remarkable break into cinema by Iren.
