Nigerian singer Fireboy DML has officially announced ZUKO as the title of his forthcoming fifth studio album. The YBNL star unveiled the project through a cinematic teaser shared across his social media platforms.
In the dark-themed visual, Fireboy appears dressed in a striking red suit with blood-stained bandages wrapped around his hands as he rides along an empty highway. The clip ends by revealing a vehicle’s licence plate bearing the inscription ZUKO, confirming the album’s title.
Before the official announcement, Fireboy had already begun building anticipation for the project by teasing two unreleased songs, hinting at the sonic direction of his next era.

ZUKO will mark Fireboy’s first solo album since Adedamola, which was released in August 2024. Since then, he has remained active, teaming up with producer Pheelz for the collaborative EP Peace By Piece in 2025 while also releasing standalone singles and appearing on several collaborations.
The forthcoming project continues an impressive album run that has established Fireboy as one of Afrobeats’ most consistent hitmakers. His discography includes Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps (2019), Apollo (2020), Playboy (2022), and Adedamola (2024), with each project showcasing a different stage of his artistic evolution.
While Fireboy has yet to announce an official release date or tracklist for ZUKO, the reveal signals the beginning of a new album campaign and one of the most anticipated Afrobeats releases on the horizon.
