Nigerian Afrobeat singer Kizz Daniel’s latest single, “Showa,” has been the biggest song in the country for two consecutive weeks, according to TurnTable’s Official Nigeria Top 100 chart.

The chart, which aggregates streaming and airplay data, sees “Showa” maintain its position at the summit for the week of March 29 to April 4. Arya Star’s “Commas” and Chike’s hit collaboration with Mohbad, “Egwu,” occupy the second and third spots, respectively.

Notable inclusions in the top ten include the global Amapiano sensation “Tshwala Bam,” Skepta and Portable’s “Tony Montana,” and BNXN (formerly known as Buju) and Ruger’s “Romeo Must Die,” which slipped four spots from #2 last week.

“Showa” is the second single from Kizz Daniel’s four-track EP, “TZA,” released on March 11. The EP’s first single, “TweTwe,” is currently sitting at #5 on the chart.

The continued success of “TZA” comes as Kizz Daniel is set to perform the EP at London’s OVO Arena on May 6, further expanding his reach and solidifying his status as one of Nigeria’s leading Afrobeat artists.
