Love Weah Productions is gearing up for the release of its debut feature film, “Boss Chicks,” set to premiere at Silverbird Cinemas in Accra on July 5, 2025, and in Liberia on July 12, 2025.
The heist drama follows a group of brilliant women who execute the biggest robbery in Liberian history—targeting the country’s wealthiest businessman. They believe they’ve struck gold, but their target comes after them, vowing to make them pay—with the law or with their blood. In this high-stakes cat-and-mouse game, only one side can win—and the answer will be revealed when the film hits theaters.
“Boss Chicks” stars Love Weah Gray, Natasha Smith, Rica Snyder, Salma Mumin, Chichi Neblett, and Nabil Abbas.
Production began as early as 2022, when “Boss Chicks” was originally marketed as a television series for a Liberian network. It was later reimagined as a feature film to reach a broader audience.
Directed by Jay U Boye and Love Weah Gray, “Boss Chicks” marks a major milestone for the Liberian film industry. It is the first Liberian film to be picked up by an international cinema chain. Following the signing of a distribution deal, the film will run for six consecutive weeks at Silverbird Cinemas in Ghana, giving Ghanaian audiences a front-row seat to the rise of Liberian cinema.
