Mark Ruffalo is rumored to return as Bruce Banner/Hulk in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
The film, which will mark the fourth entry in the MCU’s Spider-Man series following 2021’s No Way Home, is set to expand the interconnected universe with new and returning characters.
According to cinematic.bst, Ruffalo’s appearance would mark his tenth in the MCU, though details about his involvement remain unconfirmed. While some speculate it may just be a cameo, others believe he could have a more substantial role in the story.

Alongside Ruffalo, Tom Holland is confirmed to reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya returning as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned. “Stranger Things” star Sadie Sink is also rumored to join the cast, though her role has yet to be disclosed.
With “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” slated for a 2026 release, excitement continues to build, even as Marvel keeps details—especially the identity of the film’s villain—under wraps.
