Netflix Outlines 2026 African Content Slate

Returning series and new regional titles headline the streamer’s lineup.

Netflix has outlined its African content slate for 2026, confirming a mix of returning series and new titles from Nigeria, South Africa, and Ghana.

 

The lineup includes Aníkúlápó Season 2 and Nigerian series Yoh! Bestie, alongside South African productions Love Is Blind South Africa and 180.

 

Also returning is Fatal Seduction, which has been renewed for a third season following continued audience demand on the platform.

Ghana’s Two, described as the country’s first neo-noir feature, is also part of the slate, expanding the range of genres represented in Netflix’s African offerings.

 

According to Netflix, the 2026 selection reflects its ongoing focus on African stories across drama, reality, and thriller genres, as the streamer continues to invest in locally produced content.
