“Next Afrobeats Star” Shines Spotlight on Rising Icons in Exciting Talent Quest

In the quest to unearth the future torchbearers of Afrobeats, a new talent show, “Next Afrobeats Star,” is poised to captivate television audiences. This show aims to unearth hidden talents poised to elevate the genre to unprecedented heights.

Produced by Ultima Studios, organizers of the event disclosed that 48 contestants will undergo a rigorous selection process, with a final 12 emerging as the chosen participants. The show, anticipated to conclude on June 2, 2024, will see the top three contestants receiving cars as prizes, while the overall winner secures a coveted recording deal, among other rewards.

Renowned and award-winning producers “Sarz” and “P. Prime” have been unveiled as judges for the competition. Joining them on the judging panel are “Puffy Tee” and “Andre Vibes.” These esteemed producers will serve as mentors to the contestants as they navigate through the various stages of the competition.

The entire journey will be chronicled in episodes, shedding light on the challenges faced and the ultimate evolution of the contestants as they hone their craft and captivate viewers.

Discussing the upcoming talent show, Olufemi Ayeni, Chief Executive Officer of Ultima Studios, highlighted its potential to contribute to Nigeria’s foreign exchange earnings. He emphasized that the show’s participants would collaborate with renowned producers from around the world.
