The Nigerian International Film Summit (NIFS) has opened submissions for its Lagos 2026 special industry screenings as part of its mission to strengthen Nigeria’s film ecosystem through international distribution, marketing, financing, and production opportunities while expanding the global reach of African content.
As part of this year’s edition, NIFS is inviting Nigerian filmmakers with feature films seeking wider audiences, as well as micro drama creators looking for their next breakthrough, to submit their projects for consideration.
Through the NIFS Industry Support Initiative, organised in partnership with UBA, Red TV, and Nile Cinemas, selected projects will receive special industry screenings and red carpet showcases before distributors, commissioners, financiers, exhibitors, and other key decision-makers across Africa’s film industry.
The initiative aims to connect filmmakers with potential funding, development support, distribution partnerships, and other business opportunities capable of advancing their projects.
Submissions close on July 29.
