Nigerian Idol has begun auditions for its tenth season, with video submissions open from January 17 to February 2, 2025.
The announcement by Multichoice Nigeria has reignited excitement among music enthusiasts, offering a platform for young talents to showcase their vocal abilities.
The competition is open to Nigerians aged 16 to 30. Applicants are required to upload a 30-second video of themselves singing a song of their choice to the Nigerian Idol online audition platform.
Sponsored by Bigi, the reality show will air exclusively on DSTV and GOTV, maintaining its commitment to discovering and nurturing emerging talent. Over the years, “Nigerian Idol” has produced several successful artists, including Mercy Chinwo, Moses Obi Adigwe, Kingdom Kroseide, and Chima Udoye.
The show’s format includes auditions, live performances, and public voting, with celebrity judges and mentors guiding contestants toward honing their craft.
