Nollywood Filmmaker Victor Okpala’s ‘Tiger’s Tail’ Takes a Leap onto Prime Video

Nollywood filmmaker Victor Okpala’s debut movie, Tiger’s Tail, is set to hit Prime Video tomorrow, June 2, after a successful theatrical release in July last year.

When TNR asked about the significance of this release on Prime Video to him and his team, Okpala expressed his excitement, stating, “It’s the birth of a new era. We are delighted about this because it will open more doors for collaboration with other stakeholders and partners.”

Tiger’s Tail follows the story of Amara Nzewi, a recent UK graduate of Psychology who unwittingly steps into dangerous territory when she starts a foundation to rehabilitate street boys. Directed by Victor Okpala, the movie promises a gripping and suspenseful experience.

The romantic thriller features Big Brother Naija star Natacha Akide (Tacha) in her first-ever film role, alongside notable actors Kelechi Udegbe, Eniola Badmus, Alexx Ekubo, and Zubby Michael. The film was distributed by Genesis Pictures for Dope7 Media.
