David Mamet’s stage play “Oleanna” is showing at the Terra Kulture Lawn in Victoria Island, Lagos, from May 3 to June 1, 2025.
Directed by Ikpehai Imierhe, the production follows the story of a female student who accuses her professor of sexual harassment, setting off a tense exchange that puts both of their futures at risk.
The play features performances by Uche Chika Elumelu and Patrick Diabuah under Aquinas Production. It focuses on the shifting power dynamics between the characters, raising questions about communication, authority, and fairness.
“Oleanna” presents a simple but intense back-and-forth that invites audiences to reflect on the ways people experience and interpret power and consent.
The play is known for sparking conversation around real-world issues, especially in education and workplace settings.
