Nigerian actress Osas Ighodaro is set to make her Bollywood debut following her appearance in the newly released trailer for Imported Bahu, expanding her career beyond Nollywood.
Ighodaro, who plays the CEO of Ogun Fashion and daughter-in-law to an Indian family, shared the trailer in a collaborative Instagram post announcing the project.
Imported Bahu follows the story of an “imported wife” whose sudden arrival disrupts the dynamics of her husband’s Indian family. The series explores themes of family, love, and hidden secrets.

The cross-cultural production is produced by Forever 7 Entertainment, the company founded by Nigerian-Indian filmmaker Hamisha Daryani Ahuja. The project marks the company’s first vertical microdrama series and another creative collaboration between Nollywood and Bollywood.
Also starring Bollywood actor Rajniesh Duggall, Imported Bahu joins the growing wave of vertical microdramas, a storytelling format specifically designed for mobile viewing in vertical orientation.
The series is scheduled to premiere on July 2 on Lebara Play, a telecom-backed microdrama platform.
