Pan-African Video Streaming Platform *Circuits* Prepares for December Launch

Circuits, a homegrown addition to Nigeria’s expanding premium video-on-demand (PVOD) space, is set to launch in December 2024. The platform promises to deliver a curated selection of African films, including new releases and box-office hits, through a pay-per-view model.

Unlike established competitors such as Netflix, Showmax, and iROKOtv, Circuits plans to carve a niche by exclusively showcasing African content. Subscribers can expect five to ten carefully selected premieres each month, available for a limited 12-week viewing period.

Chioma Onyenwe, Vice President of Circuits and founder of Raconteur Productions, highlighted the platform’s mission to create a stronger connection between Africa’s vibrant film industry and global audiences. “We aim to build a resilient bridge for audiences who cherish our stories and films,” Onyenwe stated.
