Paramount Plus Commences Filming for “Protest and Progress” Documentary

Paramount has officially announced the commencement of filming for “Protest and Progress,” a documentary centered on the journey of photographer and Oscar-nominated British-Nigerian filmmaker, Misan Harriman.

 

Produced by UK Indie production company Doc Hearts in collaboration with Paramount Global International Studio Division, and directed by Andy Mundy-Castle, the documentary delves into the profound impact of protest on societal change.

 

 

“Protest and Progress” promises to deliver a thought-provoking exploration of various aspects of activism, capturing compelling narratives through Harriman’s lens. Featuring interviews with activists and photographers at the forefront of protests, the documentary trace Harriman’s personal journey of activism.

 

Set for an exclusive premiere on Paramount Plus in early 2025, “Protest and Progress” is poised to offer audiences a compelling and impactful narrative on the power of protest in driving social change.
