Nollywood filmmaker Reginald Jumbo has teased his upcoming psychological thriller Don’t Grieve, two years after his last project, The Interrogation of Lotanna.
Jumbo, known for the 2024 AFRIFF-selected and award-winning short film, announced the new project through a recent social media post accompanied by a casting call seeking actors for the upcoming film.
The casting call is open to actors for three characters, including lead character Adia, aged 18 to 26, and supporting characters Hannah, aged 35 to 55, and Tonye, aged 18 to 25. Interested actors are required to submit monologues for consideration by August 20.

Jumbo, who also directed Full Circle (2022), described Don’t Grieve as “his greatest creation yet,” offering little else about the story or characters.
Details about the upcoming short film remain under wraps as the project moves through pre-production.
