The Herd, a social commentary crime thriller directed by Nollywood actor Etim Daniel Effiong, has reached N188 million at the Nigerian Box Office after four weeks, placing it within N12 million of crossing the N200 million mark.
The Nigerian Box Office shared the updated earnings on X, where it also listed the films leading this week’s chart. The report shows a shift in rankings, with Gingerrr, the long-running Nigerian title, dropping to fourth place after recording an additional N14.4 million and bringing its total to N494.4 million.
Hollywood releases dominated the top spots for the week. Now You See Me 3, directed by Ruben Fleischer, opened with N34.2 million to take first place. Predator: Badlands, directed by Dan Trachtenberg, earned N18.7 million in its second week, bringing its cumulative figure to N78.7 million. Edgar Wright’s The Running Man followed with an opening of N14.7 million.

Despite strong competition from new releases, The Herd maintained its position on the chart with N12 million earned this week. Its consistent run underscores the film’s relevance and audience interest in its theme.
According to the Nigerian Box Office, the top six films for the week of November 14 to 16, released on November 18, are:
