The anticipated third season of “The Real Housewives of Lagos” (RHOLagos) is set to premiere on Sunday, January 12, 2025, with a refreshing mix of returning favorites and new faces.
This season promises an even deeper dive into the lives of Lagos’s elite as three new housewives—Sophia Momodu, Dabota Lawson, and Adeola Diiadem Adeyemi—join the returning cast of Mariam Timmer Adeyemi, Laura Ikeji Kanu, and Carolyna Hutchings, who is making her comeback after a dramatic first season.
Sophia Momodu, a beauty and fashion entrepreneur, brings a bold personality to the show. Known for her firm stance against bullying, she remarked, “I’m very anti-bullying; I don’t believe in it, I don’t subscribe to it, and I don’t entertain it.” Sophia also hinted at her determination to maintain her privacy amid the spotlight, saying, “What people don’t know, they can’t ruin.” She described her entry into the reality TV world as “destiny,” vowing to remain authentic throughout the season.
Adding to the glamour is Dabota Lawson, a former beauty queen turned beauty entrepreneur. Dabota is no stranger to the public eye, having built a career as the founder of Lawson House of Beauty and Dabota Cosmetics. Reflecting on her readiness for the scrutiny that comes with being on the show, she said, “For me, anything that I’ve done in front of the cameras, I can own up to it.” Dubbed the “Queen of Queens,” Dabota emphasized her confidence and self-assuredness, qualities she believes will resonate with viewers.
Adeola Diiadem Adeyemi, the brain behind Beauty By AD, is set to showcase her authentic self on RHOLagos. As someone who values inclusivity and has made a name for herself in the Nigerian beauty industry, Adeola said, “I’m just going to continue to be me. Eventually, the world will adjust.” Known for wearing her emotions on her sleeve, she promised to approach any drama with honesty, stating, “I don’t know how to be a coward or pretend.”
Meanwhile, returning cast members Mariam Timmer Adeyemi and Laura Ikeji Kanu are poised to bring their signature energy and finesse, while Carolyna Hutchings’ return is expected to reignite some of the unfiltered drama that defined the first season. Together, the cast promises a season packed with sass, shade, and plenty of high society intrigue.
Fans of the franchise can catch all the excitement as “The Real Housewives of Lagos” Season 3 premieres on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv Channel 151, GOtv Channel 8) on January 12, 2025. With its mix of glitz, glamour, and raw emotion, this season is set to deliver everything viewers love about the RHOLagos brand.
