Award-winning filmmaker Uduak-Obong Patrick is set to direct a new ten-part series titled “Lasgidi Cops SCU”. The series will delve into the inner workings of the Special Crimes Unit of the Lagos State Police Command.
In an exclusive interview with TNR, Patrick revealed that filming is already underway, having been ongoing for the past fifteen weeks.
“This is a big project, and I dare say it’s nothing like Nollywood has seen before,” he stated.
Patrick is known for directing notable films such as “Strain”, “Just Not Married”, and “The Fault in Us”. His recent project, “Force Empire”, premiered nationwide on August 23, 2024, and received positive reviews from both audiences and critics.
