The original Broadway cast of “Hamilton” will reunite for a special 10th anniversary performance at the 78th Annual Tony Awards, taking place Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Radio City Music Hall.

Creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will join over two dozen cast members from the show’s 2015 debut, including Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, Christopher Jackson, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Okieriete Onaodowan, and Phillipa Soo. Other returning ensemble members include Carleigh Bettiol, Andrew Chappelle, Ariana DeBose, Alysha Deslorieux, Sydney James Harcourt, Neil Haskell, Sasha Hutchings, Thayne Jasperson, Stephanie Klemons, Morgan Marcell, Javier Muñoz, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Jon Rua, Austin Smith, Seth Stewart, Betsy Struxness, Ephraim Sykes, and Voltaire Wade-Greene.

Since its Broadway premiere in 2015, “Hamilton” has become one of the most influential musicals in modern American theater. It won a record-breaking 11 Tony Awards in 2016, including Best Musical, from 16 nominations—the most in Tony history. The show also earned a Pulitzer Prize for Drama, a Grammy, an Olivier Award, and a Kennedy Center citation.

The show’s cast album became the first original Broadway recording to be certified Diamond by the RIAA in 2023. It has now spent over 500 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart—currently ranked No. 35 in its 504th week—and was recently inducted into the National Recording Registry in its first year of eligibility.

The 2025 ceremony will be hosted by Tony, Emmy, and Grammy winner Cynthia Erivo and will honor the 2024–25 Broadway season. Musicals such as “Buena Vista Social Club,” “Death Becomes Her,” and “Maybe Happy Ending” lead with 10 nominations each. Other notable nominees include “Gypsy,” “Stranger Things: The First Shadow,” “Boop! The Musical,” and “Dead Outlaw.”

Renée Elise Goldsberry will co-host the pre-show, “The Tony Awards: Act One,” while the main ceremony will feature performances from this year’s nominated productions, Broadway Inspirational Voices, and the highly anticipated “Hamilton” reunion—capping off a night that blends new Broadway talent with a celebration of a decade-defining classic.
