Several Nigerian productions have been selected for the 10th edition of the Realtime International Film Festival (RTF), which will take place across multiple countries, including Lagos, Nigeria, from October 25, and the United Kingdom from October 17–19.

Among the Nigerian films set to screen are Shedrack Salami’s Beyond Olympic Glory, Moses Ipadeola’s Ekun Iyawo: A Tale of a Runaway Bride, Uchenna Ugwu’s I Too Crave Death, Chris Eneaji’s April, and Victor Eyike’s In The Shadow of A Promise.

The lineup also includes international titles such as Nana Obiri-Yeboah’s The Funeral of Kwadae, Ryan Halasz’s The Muscle, and Maxwell Andrews’s Sunny Days.

Founded in 2016 by Stanley Ohikhuare, RTF will present more than 200 productions this year, spanning feature films, short films, and documentaries from 37 nations.

The festival is recognized for highlighting works that have gained exposure at major international platforms such as Cannes, Toronto, and Berlin, while also serving as a bridge between filmmakers and industry professionals.

Over the years, RTF has contributed to the growth of the film industry in its host countries, supporting more than 150 emerging filmmakers who have gone on to secure distribution deals with platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Additional dates for Germany, France, Trinidad, and the United States will be announced in due course.
