Filmmaker and writer Albrin Junior has announced a short film adaptation of his book From Glasgow Without Love.
The project is based on one of the stories from the book of the same title, a collection of ten narratives examining human relationships and personal struggles.
Junior revealed the production through an Instagram post that included behind-the-scenes images from the set, offering a first look at the film.

“It takes a village to make a film. It matters the people that make up that village. Together, we formed a village and made a film using the magic of talent, and this is just the beginning,” he wrote.
The film is produced by Junior alongside Aitiya Hensley under Rev Media House and Dungeon Frog Studios.
Based on the book’s titular story, the film follows Elvis Osahon, a Nigerian man navigating complicated relationships and immigration challenges while confronting questions of identity and belonging.

The cast includes Destiny Osagiede, Jenni Duffy, Bronagh Fallon, Graeme Campbell, Malcolm McFadyen and Chris Kilburn.
The short film does not yet have a confirmed release date. It follows Junior’s 2022 short film Hadassah, which screened at festivals including the Diaspora Festival of Black and Independent Film and the Edo State International Film Festival.
