Following his breakout acting debut in the blockbuster music biopic Michael, Jaafar Jackson has landed his second screen role in Supermax, where he will star alongside Will Smith and AnnaSophia Robb.
In Michael, Jackson portrayed his uncle, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, in a performance that helped propel the film to global box-office success.
For his latest project, Supermax, directed by David Gordon Green (The Exorcist: Believer), Jackson’s role remains under wraps, although it is said to be pivotal to the story.

The upcoming action thriller is a collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios and Miramax, with Smith and Robb leading the cast. The film follows two FBI agents investigating a murder inside the world’s most secure prison.
As production gears up, Supermax is expected to premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
