Radio drama parading notable Nollywood actors is about to launch on X, formerly Twitter. ”Murder on Space X” is a collaboration between production companies, Guguru Media and Genti Media. A pilot episode is scheduled for release in May 2024.
The audio play dramatizes a dysfunctional Macaulay family entangled in a murder mystery when one family member dies under mysterious circumstances during a dinner.
Written by Toye Ogunwole, with creative development and co-written by Mautin Tairu, the cast includes Jude Chukwuka, Onajite Dede, Obiese Maduegbuna, Sharon Rotimi, Kanyinsola Eros, and Iremide Adeoye portraying various roles.
The joint venture would provide Nollywood audiences, casting directors, and producers with real-time voice acting experience” and give Nigerian cinephiles exclusive access to the creative ingenuity of the talents through the live, unedited performances.
Guguru Media is known for innovative Nigerian productions, while Genti Media specializes in audio storytelling. Their joint efforts on “Murder on Space X” intend to blend their respective strengths into a unique experience for audiences.
