Netflix Adds Nollywood Rom-Com ”Something Like Gold” to Streaming Lineup

The Nigerian romantic comedy “Something Like Gold” is now streaming on Netflix, having debuted on the platform Aug. 16, 2024.

Directed by Kayode Kasum, the film tells the story of a young, spoiled heiress who finds unexpected love after being left at the altar.

“Something Like Gold” first hit theaters on Sept. 29, 2023, earning both critical praise and commercial success. The movie stars Kunle Remi and Sandra Okunzuwa in lead roles, with a supporting cast including Temilola Aladese, Segun Arinze, and Mercy Johnson Okojie.

Okunzuwa produced the film in her feature debut, with FilmOne Entertainment handling distribution.
