TEO Productions, the growing production company founded by Nollywood filmmaker, video editor and talent manager Eniola Oba, has unveiled three romance-driven short films centred on love and the complexities of human relationships.

The projects, Terms and Conditions, You Can Eat Your Cake & Still Have It and Are You In Love With Him?, reflect what Oba describes as the company’s intentional focus on capturing the emotional realities of young adulthood.

Speaking with The Nollywood Reporter (TNR), Oba explains that although each film explores a different relationship dynamic, they are all connected by one central question: what happens when love collides with human imperfection?

“Together, they explore love, friendship, loyalty, communication, vulnerability, and the difficult choices people make while navigating relationships and discovering themselves,” she says.

Are You In Love With Him? stars Adekanmbi Nimi and Emmanuel Eme Kanaga in a story that explores emotional intimacy and neglect through two lovers, who are slowly drifting apart.

According to the University of Lagos law graduate, the films are not intended to provide simple answers. Instead, they invite audiences to reflect on their own experiences and continue the conversations long after the credits roll.

Terms and Conditions explores friendship, intimacy and commitment, examining what happens when emotions outgrow the boundaries people try to establish. It questions whether love can ever be governed by rules and what people owe one another when feelings change.

You Can Eat Your Cake & Still Have It, meanwhile, examines love, betrayal and forgiveness. Rather than dwelling on why people cheat, the film explores why people choose to stay, questioning whether love can survive repeated heartbreak and if trust can truly be rebuilt.

Terms and Conditions, which features Chioma Edak and Adeoluwa Akintoba centres on friendship, intimacy, and commitment, asking whether love can ever be governed by rules and what we owe each other when feelings change.

The third film, Are You In Love With Him?, released on July 3, stars Adekanmbi Nimi and Emmanuel Eme Kanaga as two lovers slowly drifting apart. Through their relationship, the film explores emotional intimacy, neglect, communication and loneliness while blurring the line between friendship and something more.

For Oba, who produced all three projects, the films reflect the realities and complexities of modern relationships and the challenges of growing up.

“Our hope is that audiences don’t just watch these films, they see themselves in them, question them, and leave talking about them,” she adds.
