Wizkid has ignited fresh speculation about a new album after sharing a brief but intriguing message on social media, while reports of a listening party in Paris continue to gather attention among fans.

Over the weekend, the Afrobeats superstar posted a single word on X: “Album.” The post contained no additional details, title, or release date, but it quickly fueled discussions among fans who believe new music may be on the horizon.

The speculation intensified hours later when reports surfaced that a pre-release listening party is scheduled to take place in Paris on June 25. While neither Wizkid nor his management team has officially confirmed the event, the timing has led many fans to connect it to the singer’s latest teaser.

According to reports circulating online, the event is being organized in partnership with Deeds Magazine and will be held at Cova Club in Paris. Wizkid is reportedly expected to perform a live set, with DJs Yosa and Gingerboy also billed for the event. Hosts Sina and Rae Grey93 are also expected to be part of the evening.

Adding to the speculation, Wizkid recently shared Instagram Stories showing him spending time in studios near the Eiffel Tower, prompting suggestions that portions of the forthcoming project may have been recorded in the French capital.

The development follows a familiar rollout pattern from the singer, who has often revealed major projects with little warning before rapidly unveiling more details.

His last studio album, Morayo, was announced in 2024 through a brief social media post on what would have been his late mother’s birthday. The project, dedicated to Jane Dolapo Balogun, arrived later that year and became one of his most personal releases to date.

Before Morayo, Wizkid famously spent more than two years teasing Made in Lagos before releasing the critically acclaimed album in 2020. More recently, he surprised fans by announcing Real Vol. 1, a collaborative EP with Asake, during an Apple Music interview.

If the Paris event is confirmed, it would mark the beginning of a new album cycle for Wizkid and his first full-length project since the release of Morayo.

For now, fans remain on high alert, waiting to see whether the singer’s one-word teaser signals an official announcement in the days ahead.
