Iyabo Ojo, Nollywood Actress and Producer has finally wrapped production on her upcoming directorial debut The Return of Arinzo starring a cross-country ensemble cast across Nigeria, Ghana and Tanzania.
Ojo shared the update on Instagram, with a picture showing the film’s clapperboard including cast and crew members on set. “The Return of Arinzo shoot is officially wrapped,” she wrote.
According to the actress, the official premiere and release date will be announced on March 1, 2026, as the film prepares to hit cinemas across Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, America, United Kingdom(UK) and Canada.
As a sequel to Ojo’s 2012 classic Arinzo, it is expected to feature performances from Abayomi Olukanmi, Anthony Nwahiri, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Juma Jux, Prisca Lyimo, Patrick Kanumba and Zuhura Othman amongst others.
Written by Moshood Yakub Olawale, who is behind Ojo’s previous cinema debut Labake Olododo, The Return of Arinzo wraps production after nearly two months since early January.
With The Return of Arinzo, Ojo builds and expands on Arinzo’s (2012) world and character relationships with a cross-country collaboration that promises suspense and high stakes.
