“G20,” the Amazon MGM Studios action thriller starring Viola Davis, has become one of Prime Video’s top ten most-watched action films of all time.
According to a streaming update released on June 7, the film has surpassed 50 million global viewers, reinforcing its widespread appeal and performance on the platform.
Set during a fictional G20 summit overtaken by terrorists, Davis plays President Taylor Sutton, a leader forced to take matters into her own hands.

The film’s ensemble cast includes Anthony Anderson, Marsai Martin, Ramón Rodríguez, Douglas Hodge, Elizabeth Marvel, Sabrina Impacciatore, Christopher Farrar, and Antony Starr.
Known for portraying strong, authoritative characters, Davis also served as a producer on the film.
The success of “G20” adds to her growing list of achievements in both acting and production.
