Take One Productions Concept, co-founded by Heavens Obule, a Nigerian actor and producer, is officially calling for short films ahead of the fifth edition of its Night of Shorts.
As recently announced on the company’s official social media page, the call is open to compelling short films that spark conversations, evoke emotions and leave the audience in awe.
Emerging and established filmmakers are encouraged to apply but submissions must be within the duration of 30 minutes or less across all film genres.
Following submissions, only five films will be eventually selected to screen at the fifth edition of Night of Shorts. The submission period runs from July 26 to August 31.
Take Productions through its Night of Shorts continues to amplify the importance of thought-provoking short films in Nollywood while providing a distribution medium for filmmakers to reach their audiences.
Some of the titles previously screened at Night of Shorts include Voices, Trigger, Ukulo Uyi (My Hustle), Onajite (This is Sufficient), and A Moment’s Peace.
The fifth edition of Night of Shorts will be held on October 10, 2026.
